Income Security and Family Support Advisory No. ISFS-16 -- Congressman Jim McDermott (D-WA), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, today announced a hearing to examine the use of psychotropic drugs for children in the foster care system. The hearing will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in room B-318 Rayburn House Office Building.

“DC Crystal Meth Working Group“ The Crystal Meth Working Group of Washington, DC is a grassroots group that sprung from concerns about the impact of crystal methamphetamine on our community. The DC CMWG provides educational forums, outreach to local gay bars, clubs and community events and hosts a website. The site (www.letstalkaboutmeth.org ) provides information to assist individuals to make informed decisions about meth use and its impact on your life. The DC CMWG received the Caron Community Service Award this year (2006) for Educational Excellence.
