Readership includes over 2,000 students, retired, social workers, and social workers employed in private practice, public and private agencies/institutions.  Coverage includes the District of Columbia, Suburban Maryland, Northern Virginia, and 55 NASW Chapters, including Europe, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. All ads should be typed or camera ready to insure accuracy.  We are not responsible for errors resulting from hand written ads.  All fees must be paid in advance.  Membership rates apply to personal business ads placed by members of the DC Metro Washington Chapter, NASW. Classifieds Classified advertisements are available under the following headings: *    Continuing Education *    Employment – job title first and agency information last *    Professional Services *    Office Space – Location first, contact and telephone(s) last *    Supervision *    Volunteer *    Miscellaneous Fees are $6 per column line for NASW Members and $9 per column for Non-Members, when purchased online. The minimum ad is 4 lines or $24 for members and $36 for non-members. An additional charge of $1 per column line will be added if the ad is submitted via telephone  (202-336-8395) or fax (202-336-8347).  All ads are payable in advance of publication. A column line consists of no more than 46 characters; including punctuations and spaces.  Each capital letter equals 1.5 characters. Newsletter Discount - Display ad ¼ Page      1-3 issues= $75.00 per issue ½ Page      1-3 issues= $150.00 per issue Full Page    1-3 issues= $300.00 per issue 2008 Deadlines for Advertising in the Chapter Newsletter  Deadlines for submission of advertisements are: March 7th for April/May issue May 9th for the June/July issue July 11th for August/September issue September 5th for October/November issue November 7th for December/January issue Advertisements received late will be placed in the subsequent newsletter.  Members should receive newsletters within the first two weeks of the month of publication.  Newsletters will also be posted on this Website under "Publications".   Website Advertising for NASW Members Website advertising may be purchased at any time and requires a one-week posting time. 30 words for $30 for 30 days--$1 for each additional word.   Words that will not be counted include "a" "is" and "the".  An email address counts as one word, the same for a phone number. With the purchase of Newsletter Display Ads, website advertising is 50% off. Website Advertising for Non-NASW Members Website advertising may be purchased at any time and requires a one-week posting time. 20 words for $30 for 30 days--$1 for each additional word.  Words that will not be counted include "a" "is" and "the".  An email address counts as one word, the same for a phone number. Label Rental The Metro Chapter rents labels for a low, low, low cost of just $.10 a label.  They will be placed on adhesive labels or emailed to a mailing house in comma delimited text document.  Adhesive labels may be picked up from our offices at no extra charge or mailed to the purchasing organization for a $10 fee.
