Licensure Renewal Summary (for more information, please visit the DC Board website)
The Board requires 40 hours (6 of which must be for Ethics) of continuing education courses for license renewal every two years. The Board has approved 6 credit hours of multimedia educational programs per year (i.e. on-line classes, home study, & audio programs) per two-year renewal cycle. the current licensing cycle is August 1, 2007 - July 31, 2009.
