The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is hiring temporary workers to support the delivery of services to victims of Hurricane Katrina. We are looking for applicants to fill the following types of positions in the Jackson, MS area:
General Administrative Support $15.00 per hour
Applicant Services Representatives $13.00 per hour
Counselors $15.00 per hour
Couriers** $11.00 per hour
Inventory/Supply Technicians $11.00 per hour
Switchboard Operators $11.00 per hour
**(Requires a valid driver's license).

The American Red Cross is recruiting volunteer licensed mental health professionals who have completed the American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Training requirements to meet the urgent and ongoing need for disaster workers created by Hurricane Katrina in the gulf region.
